Digital Authority is not created by posting more often. It is built by giving earned expertise a structure that people can recognize, examine, and act on. Tanya's Digital Authority Method does that through five connected stages.
1. Position
Decide what you want to be known for. Position gives your experience a clear territory and helps people understand the expertise, point of view, and problems you want associated with your name.
2. Package
Turn what you know into something transferable. This is where experience becomes frameworks, methods, stories, proof, offers, and other intellectual property that explain how you think and how your expertise creates change.
3. Present
Make your thinking recognizable. Your message, personal brand, voice, visuals, conversations, and on-camera communication should help people experience the quality of your expertise. Video can be especially useful here because it allows people to see and hear how you think.
4. Publish
Give your strongest ideas a durable home. Articles, videos, podcast episodes, frameworks, resources, and other owned assets create a body of authority that people can find, revisit, share, and use to understand your work.
5. Promote
Help the right people encounter the work and know what to do next. Promotion includes trusted relationships, referrals, speaking, media, email, search, partnerships, and other paths that connect recognition to meaningful opportunity.
Where Video and AI Fit
Video and AI support the method, but they are not separate stages. Video can strengthen how expertise is presented and published. Responsible AI can support research, organization, drafting, and reuse across the system. In both cases, human judgment, accuracy, and point of view stay in charge. The five stages work together. A weak result later in the system often points to an earlier decision that needs attention. That is why the method begins with Position and builds forward rather than treating visibility as the starting point.
